Turmeric can be added to soups, used to prepare tea, peeled and eaten fresh. However, you choose to consume it, you should be aware of the health benefits this herb provides. Turmeric has a bit and peppery taste that adds a unique flavor to a meal. But other than consuming it, you can apply turmeric on your skin and still enjoy the benefits of turmeric.
